The Hidden Market & Supporting Arms

Yesterday was the Grand Opening for The Hidden Market.

Our vendors were supported by many locals in the community who came to show their love.

As a new outdoor market, our goal was to raise funds for a selected non-profit. This month we were able to sponsor Supporting Arms, a Santa Clarita 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Supporting Arms raises funds for Foster Care, as well as raising awareness for healthy, nutritious eating habits.

They do this by supporting local-grown producers & farmers and providing a space for the community to access their goods & produce.

Supporting Arms was a partner in bringing the much anticipated Farmer’s Market to Harbor-UCLA in Torrance on Wednesdays from 10am – 2pm.

100% of their net proceeds go towards creating programs for foster care youths or youths that are victims of child abuse or neglect. These programs provide them a space and safe haven for learning tools to enhance their self-development that focuses on letting go of the past, improving self worth, helping them shift into a positive mental attitude, and much more.

Overall Supporting Arms seeks to improve the lives and well being of youth & the community through Farmer’s Markets, Food Truck events, and communal gatherings.
