Cosmic Reiki

At Impactful Revenue, we’re embedding meaning into our daily lives.

We live on a planet, that floats in a galaxy, that’s part of a universe. And everyday that we’re worried about the small, personal issues or the large scale global issues; there is still a universe continuing to move in its own cosmic dance.

We see the cosmic events down here as seasons, but the seasons are the result of the Great Cosmic Cycles happening day to day, week to week, millennia to millennia.

The most noticeable seasons are the weather reflecting how far our hemisphere is from the sun (farther = cold => winter; closer = hot => summer) – an annual following; and how much of the moon we see (moonless night; bright full moon) a monthly (moonly –ish [shakes fist at Julius & Augustus]) following.

Because of our desire to connect our day to day with the workings of the heavens, we are doing a monthly news letter. A moonly newsletter. A moonsletter.

We’ll be sending out an issue for the new moon

& the full moon to best keep in touch,

loaded with our most recent and relevant content.

New Moonsletters will be delivered the day before a dark moonless night, in case you need a reminder that the moon is gone.

Our first letter is special, because it’s going to be for a June New Moon half way through the year, after a Summer Solstice.

We’re going to start marking our journey and would like to recap what happened from Winter Solstice through Summer Solstice – the past 6 months.

As well as from Equinox to Solstice – the past 3 months.

While also reflecting on what’s happening since the last moon – past month.

So the first letter is bound to EPIC in length & content!

Full Moonsletters will be delivered the day before a full moon, when there is a bright brimming light in the night sky, to warn you that people might be acting a little lunatic (moon lover) for the next couple days.

Some people notice the subtle differences of people on full moons. I haven’t.

The Solar Cycle

involves the Summer Solstice – the longest day of the year;

it’s opposite, the Winter Solstice – or longest night of the year;

and the midpoints –

the Autumnal & Vernal (Spring) Equinoxes of equal day & night.

There are other midpoints between the Equinoxes & Solstices of the Solar Cycle that align with:

Candlemas – the thaw of Winter into the baby’s breath of Spring; (New/Maiden)

May Day – the height of blooming energy & flowering passions of Spring into Summer; (Maiden/Mother)

Loafmass – celebration of the harvest of Summer before the Fall; (Mother/Crone)

& Halloween (All Hallow’s Eve) – when the veil is thin between the waking world and the realm beyond, unto All Saint’s Day – honoring the Catholic Saints, & All Soul’s Day – honoring those that are no longer with us. (Death/New)

That’s why I’m glad to start writing a newsletter in alignment with the Summer Solstice and near the New Moon. The longest day and the darkest night. Divine opposites.

The Lunar Cycle

involves the full moon, dark moon and the various phases betwixt: (new moon, waxing {Maiden} moon, half moon, waning {Crone} moon)

I like to take an extra step and honor the Dark Moon, separate from the New Moon.

I see the Dark Moon as the darkest night of the month. No light in sky except the stars.

A dark night, is the perfect night for pondering and silence. For considering where and who you are, and then, just being still.

In the stillness it becomes a moment to realize all you really, truly have – is you, and decide to purge away the excess that is weighing you down and too attached for your own good. Addictions, greediness, anger your holding on to, papers littering your cabinets, dresses you won’t wear anymore. Letting go of old energies. Allowing them to be seen, expire, sacrificed, let go of, and pass away, or passed along to someone who could make use of it.

Then the energy you surrender freely becomes the energy to feed a newness for the New Moon. Letting go of sh*t – the waste that is backing you up, and clogging up your systems – becomes the fertilizer, that enriches the soil, for the seeds you plant of your ideas for your upcoming adventure, for your future, your desires, that you will continue to nourish through the month & unto the next cycles to completion.

That has been the intention of separating Dark Moon energy which lasts about 2 days, from New Moon energy that lasts until about 2 days before the half moon.

2 days before the half moon, is the beginning of the Maiden moon cycle. The Maiden is all about growth, nurturing, tending to the garden of intention that was set during the new moon. The Maiden last until the Full Moon.

The moon is honored as Full Moon energy for about 3 days. The brightness in the night. The power, the pregnant Mother energy, a successful completion of care reaping fruits of your labor of love.
