Cosmic Reiki

Because of our desire to connect our day-to-day with the workings of the cosmos, we’re currently into August under a bright Full Moon during the middle of summer midpoint between Summer Solstice & Autumnal Equinox.

We’re writing newsletters (moonsletters) for the new moon & the full moon to best keep in touch.

If you signed up for a Cosmic Reiki bundle, this is included free.

We take a few days to fast and cleanse every month, either to improve health, or to receive a Reiki Attunement Session.

Skills World Inc.

sets up regular fundraisers for their 501(c)3 to fund for “improving well-being for the underprivileged children in Africa” that includes building wells, & providing supplies for education & resources for healthcare.

All of their money is used towards their mission. They also have a business Planet Skills which locally sources “high quality goods to uplift & empower all” from Africa and sells around Los Angeles area from Redondo Beach (Thursdays) to Mar Vista (Sundays) farmers markets. They are well known for their natural beauty & health products, but also carry accessories & more.

The founders and their family (who all join in) are absolutely passionate and committed about their mission and are soul-enriching to get to know.

“is a new app for finding cultural events in Los Angeles —screenings, exhibitions, talks, performances, and more, all in one place.”

The web designer declares that he built it for himself, but it became a way to explore connections across ideas, disciplines & perspectives.

We love finding finding ways to connect with each other and create community at Impactful Revenue, so we’re tipping our hat to our young entrepreneur connecting people through technology back to each other to share experiences at cool events across Los Angeles.

Community Resource Center – West L.A.

A subtle hidden gem of resources in Los Angeles on the west side. Near J-Town [aka Japan Town – is how I grew up learning about it – which is around the corner on Sawtelle & Olympic] and across the street from the government building which aids in signing up for food stamps, EBT, general relief & more. This building is more of a community center of resources.

Cooking classes, exercise classes, dance classes, CPR training, food pantry, and free diapers available, is just the beginning. Offering services in english & spanish, if you find yourself in need, it is very worth it to stop by and check in to find assistance.

Who we are:

P.S.

In other news, I went off to see Shakira at the Sofi Stadium and Black Eyed Peas opened with “get started, get stupid”.

So I did.

Had to inch my way across the stadium after midnight (since they weren’t forthcoming with a wheelchair).

Back at home I managed to rush into UCLA system and made it into their clinic with an x-ray, MRI, orders for physical therapy, and a follow up appointment (September 27th *eye roll*). At a the end of the line, I reached out and got the follow up on video chat Aug 11th! (with a little help from my family & angels) and I’m seeing them this Friday, heading into surgery next week.

So if I’m quiet, I’m healing.
